Donation Policy

1. All funds received by client families must be used exclusively for legitimate adoption expenses, including but not limited to, adoption travel costs, agency fees, legal fees, etc.
2. All funds and/or donations received by CAFA are under the ultimate control of the CAFA Board of Directors and they make all final decisions regarding distribution and/or grants of any funds.
3. CAFA will withhold 10% of all donations received to cover ministry and material expenses.
4. Any funds raised beyond the family's stated adoption goal will be used to further the ministry of CAFA and assist other families with the cost of adoption.
5. If a family decides not to adopt or their adoption is disrupted/ceased for any reason, any funds raised will be used to further the ministry of CAFA and assist other families with the cost of adoption.  Donations cannot be returned to donors.
6. Donor names and amounts will be kept confidential and not shared with the benefitting family.
7. Donation receipts will be provided to donors for tax purposes.
