Since our inception in 2003 CAFA President Alan Keener has spoken in numerous churches and conferences about adoption, focusing on the biblical foundation for adoption and calling Christians to consider their role in caring for orphans. CAFA exists to promote adoption within the Christian community through Inspiration and Education.

Alan Keener, President

Alan and Lena have been married 26 years and are the parents of four adopted children: Hana, Lydia, Elizabeth, and Rebecca. Al served in teaching and pastoral ministry for 15 years. Lena is a Montessori teacher who currently home schools. They have resided in West Michigan since 1985.


Paul DeBoer, Executive Treasurer

Paul and Cindy have been married for 19 years and have been blessed with a four children, Andrew, Joshia, Grace, and Yulisa. Paul is a Certified Public Accountant and owns DeBoer and Goodyke, an accounting practice in Hudsonville, MI. Paul and Cindy attend Mars Hill Bible Church and are actively involved in the Global Outreach ministry.


Ron Foster, Executive Secretary

Ron and Margie have been married for 26 years and have lived in Michigan since 1986. They are blessed with three adopted children, Nate in 1995, Abigail in 2000, and Rachel in 2006. Margie home schools the children and teaches piano lessons, while Ron works as a sole practitioner attorney and business law professor.
